Red Bluff Earrings

Holy moly I can't believe I pulled these off! So many solder points, topped with super fickle Indonesian Opalised Wood, these were a labour of love! The top stones are 10.35 ct of Indonesian Opalised Wood, paired with freshwater coin pearls - my favourite! 
 
Named after Red Bluff, Western Australia - the opalised wood looks exactly Red bluff - turquoise ocean, with red sand.
 
Statement earrings of my dreams - fine and sterling silver, framed in recycled silver bubbles. These earrings have sterling silver posts, with sterling silver butterfly back closures. These gorgeous dangles are 4.5 cm in length, and weigh 5.69 g each - yes, exactly that number! Both of them!!! Can't believe I managed that. For their size, they are quite lightweight.
