Sand Dollar Earrings

The sweetest little sand dollar charms for your ears. I made a silicon mold of a tiny little sand dollar that was ethically sourced from Southwest Seaweeds, and then filled that mold with wax, and sent it off for casting, using the investment casting method. This means that the backs are shiny and polished, rather than a full sand dollar. Silver has been blackened and polished back to accentuate the gorgeous textures of the original sand dollar!
 
Sand dollar charms are 2cm in length, including the jump ring up the top, these are cast by Lenrose Casting and are solid recycled sterling silver. These babies weigh roughly 4.4 grams each! Not suitable for super duper sensitive ears. Pictured with the hoops, but also available with sleepers, hooks, or charms only.

Can be made blackened with patina (see images with plant background) or put straight into the tumbler for extra shine (see white background images). Depends on your vibe!
